Curated by Brazilians Analu Bambirra, Carol Almeida, and Egyptian Alia Ayman, the 2nd Festival edition presents productions covering distinct themes, such as political matters, social criticism, family conflicts, utopias, friendships, and masculinities.

With a selection of over 40 films, in multiple formats and genders – short, mid-length, and feature films, among fiction and documentaries – the Festival brings to light the myriad of these filmographies through women-made productions from countries like Egypt, Lebanon, Palestine, and Sudan.

The curators propose a Filmic Universe consisting of six film constellations: Canis Major, Andromeda, Serpent, Ursa Major, and Red Moon. Each week, one constellation will be available; download our program and check the screening date of each set.
